Our position

Quokkanut may use artificial intelligence as one production capability within a broader human-led creative process. AI assistance does not remove the need for originality, evidence, rights awareness, quality control or accountable publication decisions.

Human accountability

People remain responsible for setting the editorial direction, reviewing important outputs, considering audience and platform context, and deciding whether work is ready to publish.

Originality

Quokkanut aims to create distinctive work rather than reproduce protected expression or imitate living creators in a misleading way. Similarity and provenance concerns should be investigated before release.

Sources and accuracy

AI-generated or AI-assisted statements are not treated as verified merely because they are fluent. Factual material should be reviewed against appropriate sources, and uncertainty should not be hidden.

Rights and provenance

Production inputs and assets should have a known source and an appropriate usage basis. Records should be kept at a level proportionate to the nature and risk of the work.

Disclosure and context

Quokkanut should consider audience expectations, applicable law and platform rules when deciding whether and how to disclose AI assistance. The final public standard should be updated as those expectations evolve.

Continuous review

Tools, laws and platform policies change. Quokkanut’s practices should be reviewed periodically, with material concerns directed to legal@quokkanut.com.
